Today in labor history, October 2, 2010:  Union members, progressives, and other activists from around the country gather in Washington, D.C., for the One Nation Working Together rally to demand good jobs, equal justice, and quality education for all.  Organizers of the rally estimated the size of assembly to have been between 175,000 and 200,000 people.
